Area Sales Representative (PERI Formwork Systems, Inc.)
Area Sales Representative
Analyze drawings and develop preliminary concepts for formwork and shoring solutions using PERI products during sales consultations with customers. Relay about design concepts and customer requirements in an efficient manner to the engineering manager. Deliver technical presentations to customers about PERI’s formwork and shoring solutions and advantages, and develop and respond to proposals that meet specific customer requirements. Perform ongoing market research to stay up to date with trends, growth activity, emerging technologies, and latest product line developments that may impact our business and customers. Manage sales lifecycle, pipeline and coverage to ensure target achievement. Maintain pipeline, revenue forecasting, customer communications, and database within CRM or applicable system on a weekly basis. Provide technical and non-technical support to customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of formwork and shoring solutions. Create a sales action plan and identifying potential PERI customers and establishing relationships to create a robust customer base for construction and civil engineering projects and to facilitate growth in PERI’s project portfolio. Calculate prices for PERI’s complex and proprietary formwork and scaffolding solutions. Conduct sales meetings with clients and negotiate contracts for sales of PERI products. Attend to construction or civil engineering projects utilizing a PERI solution and provide technical engineering and product support during the building process. Work closely with client and internal design engineers to ensure PERI solutions are competitive and responsive to client needs, including labor estimates and construction schedules. Ensure coordination within PERI to ensure that formwork and scaffolding solutions meet client demands and PERI’s quality standards. 50% of domestic travelfor client meetings and site visits.
Area Sales Representative
Salary: $76,710–$86,520 per year plus commissions and customary employee benefits.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field of study . One year of sales or marketing experience in the construction, concrete, or formwork industry, to include: conducting market analysis; creating and conducting product training; reading and interpreting structural drawings; and formwork and shoring systems and construction processes.
