PERIKIN Enterprises, LLC (PERIKIN) maintains a contract with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Infrastructure (NA-90). NA-90 is responsible for modernizing infrastructure of the NNSA complex. PERIKIN requires an exceptional candidate to fill a Management Analyst position to support NA-90’s Office of the Chief of Staff.

The Chief of Staff Office provides guidance for integrated, timely, and responsive internal and external communications across the NA-90 infrastructure complex and has the overriding responsibility to support NNSA field offices. The office is responsible for advising the Associate Administrator on all communication, media relations, public affairs, and congressional issues. The office serves as the liaison between NA-90 and the other NNSA organizations i.e. NA-10 Defense Programs, NA-CI Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, NA-COMM, NA-IM Information Management, NA-MB Management and Budget, NNSA Field Offices, and NA Front Office.

The Management Analyst will support NA-90’s Office of Chief of Staff with a variety of organizational management functions, including those related to creating and coordinating NA-90’s strategic, operational, and tactical routine tasks and accomplishments. The candidate will routinely collaborate with NA-90’s senior leaders, NNSA organizational staffs, Field Office, and other nuclear security enterprise subject matter experts.

The Management Analyst position requires a dedicated individual with strong initiative and creativity, a strong interest in nuclear government affairs, and prior experience working at another executive branch agency/department, on Capitol Hill, other federal government programs, a non-governmental organization (NGO), or at another NNSA or DOE organization.

This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, requiring in-office work as needed.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to develop, track, and complete actions including recurring meetings, annual reports, senior level briefings, high priority correspondence (in NNSA E-Docs system), Government Accountability Office (GAO) taskings, Inspector General (IG) report review and responses, and review and oversight of NA-90 Directives
  • Support the development of Stakeholder Management to enhance stakeholder integration and planning
  • Support the development of external communications plans, strategies, and products and coordination of multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement actions status tracking system to track all actions, assignments, and due dates for key tasks, including reports, briefings, and other products and actions
  • Develop and coordinate senior-level program briefings
  • Assist with increasing the integration, communication, and transparency of a multi-billion-dollar program
  • Independently conduct research on government policies, orders, and legislation
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Assess, recommend, and execute organizational process improvements
  • Participate in leadership and staff meetings to facilitate integration, communication, and follow-through, including follow-up actions tracking and meeting summaries
  • Coordinate major office events ranging in size from enterprise-wide meetings for 100 people to smaller leadership Offsites for 15 people
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned (i.e., weekly progress reports, scheduling, news articles, etc.)


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • College Bachelor of Science degree with major or specialization in related field
  • At least 7 years prior experience supporting federal government programs, non-government organizations, and/or congressional-related organizations
  • Background or experience in organizational analysis/support or program/project management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working on Capitol Hill with an executive branch agency or non-governmental organization (NGO)
  • Master’s degree in science-related, political science, economics, history, or English
  • Familiarity with NNSA Management and Operations (M&O) model
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Customer service-oriented, proactive, motivated to learn new subjects, and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding team player able to work with people with a wide range of expertise stationed in different geographic locations
  • Works well with short turnaround deadlines in fast-paced office environment and is adaptable to changing priorities
  • Intermediate/Advanced Knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Acrobat
