Position Overview
This is a full-time Entry-Level position that is eligible for benefits. We offer on the job training and are looking for someone who is willing to learn and can be a team player. We are a global company who can offer opportunities for advancement in the future.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to appropriate personnel (supervisor, shop electrician, etc.), clean equipment.
- Operates heavy equipment in efforts to retrieve, delivery equipment in the appropriate areas of shop.
- Inspects and maintains his / her own safety equipment provided
- Comfortable working on a variety of rubber components and processes to complete orders
- General labor as needed including cleaning tanks in confined spaces, working long hours
- Manufacturing Assembly Technician Responsibilities working with hand tools and measuring tools
- Must be willing to wear a respirator for long periods of time during the work shift
- Must comply with hazardous material and waste handling procedures
- Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
- Keep job site / work area neat, clean, and organized
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at the work site and after hours
- Able to lift and complete all tasks in accordance with the position
- Assist other crews as needed
- Other Duties as assigned
