This role will oversee a cross-functional team of HR technology professionals and serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, driving innovation, scalability, and data-driven decision-making through best-in-class HR systems and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and drive the global HR technology roadmap aligned with PerkinElmer’s business strategy and HR transformation goals.
- Partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, and other functional leaders to ensure alignment of systems with enterprise-wide objectives.
- Team Oversight:
- Lead and mentor the HR Technology team, including Workday functional experts, system analysts, and integration specialists.
- Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centric support.
- Workday Ownership:
- Oversee the optimization, administration, and governance of the Workday platform, including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules.
- Evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests, upgrades, and new module implementations.
- Process Optimization & Governance:
- Lead process design and standardization efforts across global HR operations.
- Establish data governance and system security protocols in collaboration with IT and compliance teams.
- Innovation & Analytics:
- Drive the adoption of digital tools, automation, and people analytics to enable actionable insights and smarter workforce planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to identify future-forward solutions.
- Change & Project Management:
- Lead complex HR technology projects from inception to completion, including system implementations, integrations, and change initiatives.
- Ensure effective change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and communication strategies.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 12 years of progressive experience in HR technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing Workday platforms (ideally across multiple modules) in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex enterprise projects.
