Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing menu recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards during food handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is beneficial.
- Skills in upselling menu items are a plus but not required.
