What you can expect as our Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer:
- As a frontline fundraiser, attract new top tier corporate and foundation partners to expand philanthropic support for Perkins’ mission around the world
- Expand support from our current portfolio of corporate and foundation partners
- Work collaboratively with department leaders across Perkins to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities
- Ensure successful stewardship of donors through acknowledgement, regular communication, reporting and recognition
- Write compelling proposals, grant applications, letters of intent and other fundraising materials to secure support from corporate and/or foundation partners
- Partner with finance, development operations, and program leaders on grant management and to ensure budgets align with funder guidelines
- Work in partnership with Prospect Research to think “out of the box” to identify new prospects whose funding priorities align with our mission
- Stay informed of trends in corporate and foundation giving to identify emerging opportunities

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years experience in a front line fundraising role in an innovative nonprofit, corporate and/or foundations experience required
- Proven success in securing significant gifts or grants
- Experience writing high quality proposals and managing grant processes
- Proficiency in fundraising databases, ideally, Salesforce
