About this Role
We are seeking an innovative Residential Counselor Teaching Assistant who shares our passion for education and is eager to make a lasting impact on the lives of students.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will provide direct care, teaching independent living skills, and offer classroom support to students with complex needs.
You will excel at building positive relationships that help students manage their behaviors and develop social and communication skills.
You will have a strong understanding of both the general curriculum and the expanded core curriculum, and effectively support and implement IEP goals to help students reach their educational milestones.
You will maintain accurate records of student progress, evaluate and document learning outcomes, and communicate clearly with colleagues and team members.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience working with students with special needs, either in a classroom setting, through volunteer work or in another professional setting preferred.
