We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software testing process, from bug tracking and test case creation to release management. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve software defects, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire software testing lifecycle, including test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Leverage third-party functional testers to conduct comprehensive bug testing of release candidates.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and standards.
- Create and execute detailed test cases for functional, unit, and penetration testing.
- Utilize bug tracking systems (JIRA, Applause) to record, track, and prioritize software defects.
- Generate comprehensive test reports, documenting test results and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, analyze, and resolve software issues.
- Participate in release planning and ensure smooth and successful product launches.
- Stay up to date on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with various testing types, including functional, unit, integration, regression, and penetration testing.
- Proficiency in bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with CI/CD development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
