Job Summary
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing projects. This role involves supporting various project management activities, ensuring project documentation is up-to-date, and helping maintain project schedules. purchasing, reporting and tracking of projects
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; and
- Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program with completion of 1 or more years towards a degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
- Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling and coordinating projects
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Identify potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties.
- Assist in circumventing / resolving such problems as assigned.
- Perform tasks required to assist in the development and maintenance of budgets for a portion of or an entire project.
- Assist in estimating assignments as required.
- Assist in marketing assignments and project presentations as required.
- Assist with or update construction forecast to reflect most accurate / current cost and estimate information.
- Calculate / prepare various comparison reports, charts and tables for project analysis.
- Assist in preparing reports, studies, and presentations requested by the Project Management Teams.
- Assist in ensuring company’s safety initiatives are followed by all on-site employees. May assist in investigating, reporting, and correcting any safety-related incidents.
- Participate in job rotation plan to gain knowledge or all aspects of our Business, including, Estimating, Safety, Project Management, Field Management, and BIM Coordination/Design.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Previous internship or work experience in construction or project management.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards in construction.
- Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
