SUMMARY: The Sales Engineering Intern will focus exclusively on the design and functionality of bar areas, contributing to projects that prioritize efficient layouts, quality design, and aesthetic appeal. The ideal candidate will support our design team in crafting innovative bar designs that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Customer Experience: Work with customers to understand design needs.
- Bar Design Conceptualization: Assist in creating design concepts specifically for bar areas, including layout and style.
- Space Planning: Develop detailed bar layouts that optimize space for bartenders and enhance the flow of service.
- Technical Drafting: Produce technical drawings and 3D renderings of bar designs using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaboration: Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to integrate the bar design into broader project plans.
- Research & Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends in bar design, including ergonomic solutions and innovative material uses.
- Presentation Support: Assist in preparing design presentations and visual aids to communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Strong skills in design software, including AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Creative mindset with a focus on functionality and efficiency in design.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with bar design trends, equipment, and ergonomic principles is a plus, but not required.
