Duties
- The outside educational sales representative will grow and manage a territory by selling Perma-Bound solutions to individual schools and districts, at the library, classroom, campus, and district levels.
- The market is K-12, private and parochial, and charter schools.
- Compensation is commission based, with unlimited earnings potential.
- There is a current base of residual and repeat business with high growth potential for the right candidate.
- You will manage both existing accounts and acquire new customers.
- Identify and pursue new customer acquisition
- Communicate with established leads within territory and develop rapport
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential leads and assess competitive positioning.
- Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with potential clients.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our software solutions.
- Provide technical sales support by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Job Description:
This is a 1099 position. The market is K-12, private parochial, and charter schools. Compensation is commission based, with unlimited earnings potential. There is a current base of residual and repeat business with high growth potential for the right candidate. Current commission is approximately $90,000 from established clients within the territory. You will manage both existing accounts and acquire new customers. The territory consists of Capital Region, Adirondacks and Hudson Valley candidate must live and travel within the territory.
Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelors Degree
- Sales experience required
- Self-motivated and organized with strong time management skills
- Computer and internet access and literacy
- Excellent listening and writing skills
- Drivers License with reliable transportation
