Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Midstream and Marketing Water Representative in Midland, TX. Reporting to the Vice President of Midstream and Marketing, the Water Representative will provide support for a variety of contracts and projects for produced water. They will be responsible for day-to-day water midstream activities which include, but are not limited, to the responsibilities listed below. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills as well as be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Midstream and Marketing Water Representative in Midland, TX. Reporting to the Vice President of Midstream and Marketing, the Water Representative will provide support for a variety of contracts and projects for produced water. They will be responsible for day-to-day water midstream activities which include, but are not limited, to the responsibilities listed below. General Responsibilities
- Coordinate with production operations and the planning teams to ensure adequate takeaway for produced water including flowrates, reliability and long-term infrastructure
- Contract review, financial analysis and drafting
- Communication of schedule and needs to midstream counterparties
- Coordination with midstream/downstream markets and internal teams during upset conditions in order to evaluate and minimize impact to production
- Assist accounting with review of applicable monthly statements
- Conduct RFPs for new service
- Identify potential areas of improvement in applicable agreements
- Depending on experience level, assist with strategic marketing activities which include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for renegotiation and ongoing management of produced water gathering, recycling, and disposal agreements
- Assist with developing, implementing, and identifying new marketing strategies
- Maintain and build strategic company-to-company relationships with key enterprise-wide decision makers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Oil and Gas Marketing/Trading/Financial Analysis or Logistics/Scheduling
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Analyzing and preparing large data sets in Excel
- Editing and redlining contracts in Word
- Creating and modifying presentations for internal review in PowerPoint
- Experience with Spotfire, Carte and ProCount
