Job Summary
The Junior Instructional Designer/Trainer will support the design, development, implementation, and facilitation of training courses. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather content and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Utilize instructional design principles and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and course outlines.
- Create multimedia elements such as graphics, videos, and interactive activities.
- Maintain and update existing training materials as needed.
- Support the administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct training sessions for colleagues at all levels, including new hires and experienced staff.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and technology.
- 1-2 years of experience in instructional design or a related role.
- Knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Haitian Creole
- Experience working in a corporate and/or manufacturing training environment.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
