Job Overview
United Trades of America is hiring experienced Mechanical Journeymen to support our project in Mt. Vernon, IL. Candidates should have 6-12 years of experience, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and strong skills in pipe fitting and assembly. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings to complete installations accurately.
- Perform pipe fitting, assembly, and related mechanical tasks.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Weld as needed (if skilled).
Qualifications
- 6-12 years of industrial mechanical experience.
- Proficient in pipe fitting and assembly; welding experience preferred.
- Must possess tools and be able to work safely in an industrial environment.
