A well-known commercial construction company is seeking a Trade Foreman in Sugar Land, Texas. The Trade Foreman will be responsible for working on the main job, not self perform. The first job will be in charge of building an entire deck for the office trailer and general safety around the jobsite.
Job Description:
- Lead and oversee a crew of trade workers (carpenters and Mechanics) from15-25 people on a commercial project.
- Operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Boom Lift, Skytrak, etc.).
- Communicating to power crane operators.
- Assign daily tasks to ensure work is complete per schedule.
- Solve on-site issues and provide technical guidance to the crew.
- Enforce company and Osha safety regulations.
- Optimize labor and material usage to minimize waste.
Requirements:
- Must be bilingual.
- Must obtain an Osha 30 (within last 5 years).
- Must pass a background and 6 panel drug test.
