PK1Cloud is a new practice area at Perr&Knight (PK). PK1Cloud will be the platform driving Perr&Knight's mission to revolutionize how insurance companies manage, analyze, and leverage data. By providing an intuitive, integrated, scalable, and secure solution, PK1Cloud transforms traditionally disparate (often manual) workflows into a digital, dynamic, cloud-based ecosystem where technology fuels efficiency and growth.
A project manager with PK1Cloud will have the following tasks and requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Project Planning and Management: Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Creating detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicating with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
- Team Coordination: Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA testers, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Agile and Scrum Implementation, Sprint Planning: Organizing and facilitating sprint planning meetings to define the work to be completed in the upcoming sprint.
- Agile and Scrum Implementation, Daily Stand-ups: Conducting daily stand-up meetings to track progress, identify blockers, and ensure team alignment.
- Agile and Scrum Implementation, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives: Leading sprint review meetings to showcase completed work and gather feedback, and conducting retrospectives to discuss what went well and what can be improved.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and financial resources are used efficiently.
- Product Launch and Deployment: Planning and executing the launch of the software, including coordinating with marketing and sales teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned to improve future projects.
