Janitor

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking a Janitor, to join our team. This is fast-paced position which offers long-term, consistent employment with a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to Health, Vision, Dental, Life and 401K.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour $0 Differential

Shift / Hours: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday @7:00am to 3:30pm, possible weekend work (If needed))

Job Duties:

As a Janitor, you will be tasked with a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following key responsibilities: maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both the production areas of the industrial establishment and the office spaces. This will involve performing a range of cleaning and organizational tasks.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans floors and applies floor drier.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Picks up refuse from plant grounds and maintains area.

DRUG FREE WORKPLACE

• Notifies supervisor of unusual problems.
• Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
• Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.

Organizational Relationships:

Position reports to Sr. Maintenance Manager.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.

Outdoor primarily with some indoor activity. Typically noisy on the production floor.
