Description Overview
Manages, provides leadership, and is accountable for the assigned Manufacturing or Packaging facility / value stream by empowering all team members to deliver on quality, cost-competitive products, with 100% engagement and zero loss mindset, through the Perrigo Work System (PWS).
Scope of the Role
70% Strategic CI: Drive Continuous Improvement of plant through a business partnership.
- Lead a matrixed organization of 150-500 employees with ownership of all SQCPDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Delivery, and People) KPIs and improvement efforts for the plant.
- Create a system for 100% engagement of all employees to drive ownership at the right level within the organization.
- Creating, supporting, and ensuring execution of Perrigo Work System pillar objectives with cross functional support.
- Training, coaching, and providing succession planning through employee development. (Track and Improve)
- Creation and execution of Project Governance process to ensure Operations cost and production objectives are met.
- Influence and impact plant operations for the fiscal year.
- Activities include Implementation/Governance of Standards to support Production Managers and Matrixed support staff:
- Management for Escalation (People, Process, and Asset/Equipment)
- Management/Execution of Work Systems as intended (Coach, Teach, and Mentor).
- Daily Coordination/Communication (Manpower, Production, & Maintenance).
- Execution of Standardized Gemba; Safety, Quality, Process, People (Floor Observation).
- Coaching and Development of 5-12 direct reports through a servant Leadership Mindset to break down barriers and effectively communicate cross functionally and throughout multiple levels of organization.
- Minimum of 2 years management experience, and 6 or more years' experience in a production environment, preferably cGMP
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand and interpret operating data such as budget, safety or inspection reports.
- Effective communication skills, including demonstrated leadership ability and well developed oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is required
