What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Operations Specialist position at Perrigo Michigan?
At Perrigo Michigan, we are seeking a skilled Package Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for operating computer-controlled equipment and executing in-process attribute testing and visual inspections on an assembly line packaging over the counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Operator Interface Terminal (OIT) equipment
- Execute in-process attribute testing and visual inspections
- Accurately document GMP data on equipment logs, batch records and cleaning checklists
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math and English communication skills. We provide all training, so experience is not necessary. However, a working knowledge of computers and ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions are essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Consistently stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, stoop/bend, squat, kneeling, twisting, grasping, move items/boxes, feel with hands/fingers
- Occasionally sit, lifting 50 lbs., pull and push with skid jacks 880 lbs., climb ladders, stoop/bend, squat, kneeling, twisting, reach, reach above shoulders and head
