Description Overview
The Sr. Asset Reliability Manager is responsible for assisting in development of Asset Care Program with Corporate Reliability Leader and execution of it at the Plant level. The position will provide supervision, support, coaching, training, and development of Plant Asset Care team to enable execution of the program within the Plant. The role will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day execution of Planned and Unplanned Maintenance and drive improvements over reduction in unplanned & planned stoppages.
Scope of the Role
- Promote company culture, values and principles as well as participate in company functions.
- Drive continuous improvement in reliability of assets through the application of technical expertise by providing effective solutions that drive performance improvement in Safety, Quality and Production.
- Develop effective utilization of conditional monitoring and / or predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies (vibration, thermal imaging, oil analysis, ultrasound, etc.) designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.
- Responsible for Maintenance Asset Database maintenance, Planning / Scheduling Process, Storeroom Management, and execution / development of Proactive Maintenance strategies including Preventative, Predictive, and Precision Maintenance based on Asset.
- Develop individual training and development plan for direct and indirect team reports that maximize the team resources.
- Perform and Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), for unreliable assets based on economic evaluation. Utilize Critical thinking : use of logic, reasoning, and calculations to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to solve equipment problems.
- Responsible for Business Sponsorship Program, Maintenance Skills Program and Apprentice Program to produce result in building talent pipeline and retention.
- Monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices and encourage close teamwork between all functions (Engineering, Production, Quality Management, etc.) to close gaps.
- Drive Conformance to Reliable Manufacturing Standards and Maintenance processes with Plant Personnel through partnership and education.
- Ensure the implementation of all repairs / modifications resulting from gap assessments, plant audits, notifications, and loss improvement activities of existing equipment.
