What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geri-Psych Unit Clerk position at Perry County Memorial Hospital?
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification: Must be current in BLS/CPR. Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Indiana preferred.
Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health, preferably geriatrics is preferred.
Mental/Physical Effort: Requires close attention to detail and independent decision making. Requires alertness and skill. Makes pertinent decisions in relation to patient care. Requires resourcefulness in emergency situations. Work is normally performed in a sitting or standing position. Moderate walking is required. Requires periods of physical exertion and stamina to work effectively under adverse conditions. Use of good body mechanics is used when lifting and transferring patients.
