SUMMARY :
Create and maintain all types of patterns for assigned styles and categories. Create and maintain all technical specifications for assigned styles and categories.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and maintain patterns from 3D concept prototypes through final fit approval for production.
- Work with the Sewing team to determine best garment construction methods by creating construction mock ups and construction examples for internal and external purposes.
- Work with the Design and Merchandising teams to determine, achieve and maintain appropriate fit approval for assigned styles or categories.
- Build and maintain technical specifications, e.g., BOM, construction details, measurements, cutting, packaging, and associated technical images, etc. according to established standards.
- Complete patterns and technical specifications according to deadlines.
- Release patterns and technical specifications to appropriate recipients. Provide soft goods, e.g., prototype garments, construction mock-ups, etc. to appropriate recipients
- Track and monitor progress of Fit samples, Size Set samples and Pre Production samples in relation to deadlines.
- Evaluate Fit samples, Size Set samples and Pre Production samples for fit, measurement and construction accuracy and quality.
- Provide approval / rejection comments on Fit samples, Size Set samples and Pre Production samples for fit, measurement and construction accuracy and quality to appropriate recipients.
- Provide pattern and technical guidance to appropriate recipients for Fit samples, Size Set samples
and Pre Production samples.
