Client service representative's act as a liaison between our veterinary team and our clients. CSR's must be able to recognize what clients want or need, and find ways to fulfill those needs to satisfaction.
We're looking for a customer service oriented teammate with a great attitude, a willingness to pitch in where needed, and an ability to learn medical terminology. We would prefer someone with 1 year of veterinary or animal-care experience, although we are happy to train the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with clients online and over the phone to schedule appointments, refill medications, manage payment plans, and answer general inquiries.
- Provide assistance to team members to ensure an efficient patient flow throughout the hospital.
- Maintenance of the lobby and reception areas to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Complete end-of-day activities such as printing reports, tallying appointment totals, creating a bank deposit slip, and ensuring that all client-communication portals are cleared for the night.
- Helping clients prepare for their appointment and check in once they have arrived at the hospital.
Staffing hours range from 8:00AM to 7:00PM (M), 8:00PM (T,W), 9:00pm (Th), 6:00PM (F) and 2:30PM (Sat). We are closed on Sundays and major holidays. The position we are looking to fill will have flexible scheduling and shifts depending on the applicant's schedule and our needs for coverage. Full-Time Position 30-40 hours/week
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age
- 1 year of veterinary experience (preferred)
- Ability to use a computer and software (Cornerstone experience a plus!)
