- Oversee the collection of money and the maintenance of food service accounts.
- Maintain financial and meal count reports for end of day procedure through Skyward.
- Perform second count of money and prepare deposit slip for the bank in the manager’s absence.
- Initial prepared deposit slip assigns the cashier to make deposit in the manager’s absence
- Assist parents and staff with questions regarding eligibility and meal accounts.
- Contact parents of students with negative balances.
- Assist with Free and Reduced Applications questions.
- Be knowledgeable of placing orders for all food and supplies
- Monitor accurate temperature controls and documentation.
- Prepare productions records daily online as needed.
- Maintain recipe file and plan production schedule and quantities to prepare as required.
- Manage staff to ensure production and service is safe, timely and accurate.
- Manage overall school food service operation.
- Follow and monitor Standard Operation Procedures.
- Monitor training needs of staff and subs.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as assigned
- Receive deliveries, check temperature and store all items as assigned.
- Prepare a monthly inventory of all food and supplies as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
