We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to develop and manage a team of Account Executives. You will be responsible for building a positive work experience in a dynamic, performance-based environment. You will provide continuous mentorship for the sales team, refine our outreach process, define and track KPIs, and ensure that your team delivers a repeatable and profitable pipeline. As an integral part of the sales leadership team, you will be expected to fully understand Perry Weather's solution, value proposition, sales enablement tools, processes, and how to improve them over time.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to achieve sales targets through effective sales strategies and processes
- Conduct regular team meetings, 1:1s and performance reviews to provide constructive feedback loops
- Guide selling to multiple stakeholders, complying with legal and procurement requirements, pricing negotiations, and navigating longer sales cycles (3-12 months)
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to executive leadership
- Ensure the sales team effectively uses CRM and adopts tech stack
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, resilience, accountability, and empowerment
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team leads to ensure alignment between customer experience, marketing, and product departments on company initiatives
- Analyze market trends and competitors to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales tactics as necessary
- Experience leading a team or being in a player/coach role
- 2-3 years of business development, pipeline generation, and full sales cycle experience
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to drive and manage cross-functional initiatives
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Prior experience at a growth-stage SaaS company
- Previous experience in markets including Education, Parks and Recreation, Golf, and/or Construction
- HubSpot experience
