Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Basketball Operations/Coach to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive practice plans focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Conduct regular training sessions, drills, and scrimmages to enhance player performance and tactical understanding.
- Educate athletes on game rules, strategies, and techniques to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of the sport.
- Monitor and assess individual player progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth and improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages teamwork, effort, and respect among all participants.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize games, tournaments, and events that enhance player exposure and experience.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Experience in organizing and running tournaments or events is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in basketball; additional experience in related sports is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of basketball principles and child development, with the ability to educate young athletes on both technical skills and sportsmanship values.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- A background in team operations or related fields is advantageous but not required.
