Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.
This is a non-exempt position. Part-time employees cannot work more than 1000 hours per calendar year.
- Technician should check all sound and lighting equipment before each use.
- Equipment shall be returned to its designated storage area at the end of each use.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to the Kirby supervisor.
- Hang lighting fixtures as required for each performance.
- Set up sound equipment as required for each performance (microphones, amplifiers, communication headsets, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with other members of the production team.
- Replacing lamps in lighting instruments.
- Replacing batteries in sound equipment.
- Replacing gels in lighting instruments.
Salary : $17
