What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker III position at Person County Government?
As part of this role, the employee serves as the Guardianship designee for individuals adjudicated incompetent, acting on behalf of the DSS Director. Additionally, the position provides Adult Day Care Consultation/Monitoring and Adult Day Care Case Management Services to support aging, disabled, and handicapped adults at risk of institutionalization. These services help individuals maintain independence and remain in the community.

The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate's educational background and relevant work experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.
This is a non-exempt position working 37.5 hours weekly/1950 hours annually.

- Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work;
