Person County Group Homes (PCGH) is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as full-time Direct Support Professional in our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Group Homes located in Roxboro, NC. Our mission is to empower adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to lead fulfilling, independent lives, and we need dedicated team members like you to help make this happen!
Position Details :
Permanent, full-time position with benefits and a set schedule.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
Support individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and evening routines.
Follow individualized care plans to meet residents' unique needs and goals.
Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes independence.
Maintain detailed documentation of progress and activities.
What We’re Looking For :
A passion and desire to make a positive impact.
Previous experience with adults with IDD is preferred.
Dependability
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive, resident-focused attitude.
A GED or high school diploma from accredited institution is required.
A valid driver’s license is necessary for occasional resident transportation using company vehicles.
