Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple site development and utility construction projects
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates using Carlson Civil Software and/or Ag-Tek
- Oversee site superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
- Act as the primary liaison with project owners, engineers, and stakeholders
- Attend pre-bid meetings and develop accurate, competitive bid proposals
- Review project specifications and communicate requirements to field teams
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and material submittals
- Maintain detailed project progress reports, schedules, and cost controls
- 5-10 years of experience in site work and utility construction project management
- Proven track record of estimating and managing civil site projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, crew composition, and production rates
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project
- Experience with cost accounting is a plus
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work both independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency
- Valid driver's license & ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
