Key Responsibilities
- SCADA System Design & Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design, configure, and implement SCADA systems using PowerOn Reliance. Develop custom modules, libraries, and components with C to enhance functionality.
- PowerOn Reliance & C Proficiency: Configure and customize SCADA applications, develop HMI screens, create advanced logic and control algorithms, and extend the capabilities of PowerOn Reliance using C .
- System Integration: Integrate SCADA systems with field devices such as PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs using C programming techniques. Develop and execute system testing to verify performance.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with SCADA systems, PowerOn Reliance, and C . Conduct system upgrades and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Cybersecurity: Implement robust security measures to protect SCADA systems. Utilize C for secure coding practices, conduct risk assessments, and ensure system and data security.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system architecture and user manuals. Provide training and support to end-users for effective SCADA system operation.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and track project plans, timelines, and budgets, addressing risks to meet objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a SCADA Engineer, focusing on PowerOn Reliance and C .
- Strong understanding of SCADA concepts, protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus), and communication technologies.
- Expertise in configuring PowerOn Reliance applications, developing HMI screens, and designing complex control logic.
- Proven experience integrating SCADA systems with field devices using C programming.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and secure coding principles in C .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with project management, task prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
