Personal Care Associates Inc., a growing Healthcare Staffing Agency, is currently looking for an Assistant Scheduler/Office Assistant.
Schedule : Friday 8 hour shift / Saturday & Sunday 4 hour shifts
An 8 hour shift during the week between Monday - Thursday.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of nurses and healthcare professionals for our healthcare client facilities.
- The role involves communicating with healthcare clients, reviewing their personal needs requests, and ensuring that available shifts are adequately staffed.
- Respond promptly to last-minute scheduling changes, cancellations, or emergencies, and find suitable replacements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding staffing needs and schedule updates.
- Communicate shift details, facility policies, and other relevant information to healthcare staff.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and staff to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Track employee availability, preferences, and certifications to optimize scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, shift changes, and communications for audit purposes.
- Verify that all scheduled staff meet the necessary qualifications and certifications required by clients.
- Quickly and effectively resolve any scheduling conflicts, discrepancies, or issues that arise.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in scheduling, preferably within a healthcare staffing agency or similar environment.
- CNA experience with a strong understanding of healthcare roles and staffing needs.
- Working experience with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record with a valid driver’s license.
- Customer service experience.
- Reliability/consistent attendance with provable referees.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in good written English language.
- Organization skills with the ability to multitask.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
