Child Development Support Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care, particularly with pediatric patients who have developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and monitor client progress.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Perform patient monitoring tasks, including tracking vital signs and reporting any changes in health status.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is required.
• Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of care plans and patient monitoring techniques is beneficial.
• A background in social work or nursing may enhance your candidacy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
