Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical counseling and crisis management, with a passion for supporting individuals through their challenges. Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Conduct crisis management interventions as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and client needs.
• Utilize clinical counseling skills to facilitate psychotherapy sessions effectively.
• Engage in case management activities, including coordinating care with other professionals and resources.
• Collect and maintain accurate data related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Employ art therapy techniques as an alternative method for expression and healing when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in crisis management and clinical counseling is essential.
• Familiarity with case management practices within a clinical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for mental health diagnoses is beneficial.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and documentation practices related to client care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Certification or training in motivational interviewing techniques is a plus.
• Experience providing direct support services to individuals in need of mental health assistance is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.24 - $26.47 per hour
