1️⃣ Beverage Director – Oversee the beverage program across multiple renowned restaurant concepts.
2️⃣ Bar/Beverage Manager – Lead the bar program at one of NYC’s most celebrated Thai restaurants.

Position 1: Beverage Director – Multi-Concept Hospitality Group (NYC)

A renowned NYC restaurant group is seeking an experienced, passionate, and visionary Beverage Director to oversee its multi-location beverage program. Our restaurants are known for seasonality, sustainability, and warm hospitality, each with its own distinct culinary identity.

If you’re an expert in wines, spirits, cocktails, and financial performance, with a passion for mentoring teams and curating exceptional guest experiences, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Training & Development

  • Design and lead comprehensive beverage training programs for all locations.
  • Educate and mentor bar teams on cocktail techniques, recipe development, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain and update beverage guides and reinforce training during pre-shift meetings.

🔹 Beverage Program & Compliance

  • Curate an innovative, seasonally inspired beverage menu tailored to each restaurant’s cuisine.
  • Source and select high-quality wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options with a focus on small-batch and local producers.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC Dept. of Health and NYS Liquor Authority regulations.

🔹 Service & Leadership

  • Align beverage service with each restaurant’s unique style and identity.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to beverage managers and restaurant GMs.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and creativity.

🔹 Financial & Operations Management

  • Oversee weekly inventory management, purchasing, and vendor negotiations.
  • Track financial performance, ensuring COGS targets are met.
  • Manage purchasing budgets and optimize vendor relationships.
What We’re Looking For:

5 years of beverage program leadership experience in a multi-location setting.
Wine certification (CMS, WSET, or equivalent) required.
✔ Deep expertise in cocktails, spirits, and beverage cost management.
✔ Strong leadership, training, and mentorship skills.
✔ Ability to collaborate with chefs, operators, and ownership to elevate the overall experience.
✔ Familiarity with beverage management software (e.g., Bevager) is a plus.

Position 2: Bar / Beverage Manager – Acclaimed Thai Restaurant (NYC)

One of NYC’s most beloved and critically acclaimed Thai restaurants is hiring a Bar/Beverage Manager to oversee operations at its NoHo flagship and new Williamsburg location. Known for bold, authentic flavors and a lively dining experience, this is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on beverage professional to lead an exciting program.

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Beverage Program Development & Execution

  • Curate, develop, and execute a dynamic beverage menu across both locations.
  • Ensure consistency in cocktail preparation, presentation, and flavor balance.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and quality.

🔹 Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and mentor bartenders and barbacks.
  • Foster a positive, hospitality-focused team culture.
  • Conduct ongoing training on spirits, cocktail techniques, and Thai flavor pairings.

🔹 Service Excellence & Guest Experience

  • Ensure flawless bar operations and a smooth workflow during service.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience through engagement and consistency.
  • Address guest feedback with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.

🔹 Operational & Financial Management

  • Track beverage costs, margins, and profitability, implementing cost-control measures.
  • Oversee vendor deliveries, POS management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure accurate digital menu updates across platforms.
What We’re Looking For:

2 years of experience as a Bar Manager or leadership role in a high-volume, hospitality-driven restaurant.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
✅ A hospitality-first mindset with a passion for training and development.
✅ Deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and Thai flavor profiles.
✅ Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
✅ Familiarity with Resy, Toast, Google Suite (preferred).
✅ Valid Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
🩺 100% employer-covered healthcare (medical, dental, vision) after 30 days
🏖 12 days PTO per year
📆 5-day workweek, ~50 hours per week
