We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home one day a week while supporting the firm's attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, ensuring efficient and effective management of case files and related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with preparing and organizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial exhibits, to effectively support the firm's clients.
- Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible for the firm's clients.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information and evidence to bolster the firm's client cases.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings to facilitate smooth case management.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel to advance the firm's client interests.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents to ensure timely and accurate communication on behalf of the firm's clients.
- Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures to protect the firm's clients' legal standing.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating logistics to support successful outcomes for the firm's clients.
- Perform administrative duties such as managing calendars, billing, and time entry to ensure smooth and efficient firm operations.
