Personnel Placements is now hiring CNC Machine Operators for a steel and aluminum company in Gallaway, TN. 1st and 2nd shift positions available.

Summary

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality output. You will utilize premium skills such as CNC programming and GD&T to optimize machining processes. Additionally, your relevant experience in quality control and materials handling will contribute to maintaining production standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and form steel and aluminum parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Reliable transportation to Gallaway, TN.

Pay Rate: $17-$18/hr (based on experience)
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd shift
