What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Consultant position at Personnel Solutions Unlimited, Inc.?
DUTIES : You will have responsibility for a broad range of activities as a Security Sales Consultant. Chief among them will be to : 1) Sell Sonitrol intrusion, access control, CCTV and fire signaling systems in the Stockton / Modesto service areas, through : a) Developing sales leads b) Making sales presentations c) Quoting prices d) Closing sales e) Fully documenting closed sales f) Being present at the outset of installation so as to ensure that installation personnel understand what was sold and how the system should be installed; and g) Addressing any customer concerns that might arise during the installation process. Other duties may be assigned to you from time to time. 2) Making consistently profitable sales at a level exceeding $20,000 / month in installation sales and $500 / month in RMR sales including 2 new relationships. 3) Enhancing Sonitrol's visibility in the market with a rigorous community outreach and sales / marketing campaign. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS : The physical activity of this position includes :
- Standing : Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time (up to 8 hours per day).
- Walking : Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day).
- Lifting : Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position, up to 40 lbs.
- Talking : Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Hearing : Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
