We are currently seeking a Power and Automation Specialist to provide advanced expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), DCS, instrumentation, and electrical control systems. This is an opportunity for a skilled professional to install and integrate sophisticated systems, develop automation solutions that enhance productivity, and mentor technical teams while growing with our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complete control system designs, including automation system architecture and installation specifications
- Create user-friendly, maintainable designs that meet or exceed client expectations
- Operate as a technical lead or team member on projects, producing estimates and managing scope changes
- Mentor specialists and technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to department standards
- Provide on-site assistance during startup and gather data for control system configurations
- Review vendor and fabrication drawings, create accurate installation documents, and develop work-sharing packages
- Consult with management leaders from other disciplines, advising on design changes and ensuring smooth project completion
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial equipment, power distribution, and automation in manufacturing environments
- Associate degree in Electromechanical, Electronics, Automation, or related field (or equivalent years of job experience)
- Experience with light engineering, project management, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with quality and safety-oriented mindset
- Team player who is flexible, eager to learn, and open to collaboration on new ideas
- Experience with ISA S88 programming standards, IEC 61131 programming languages, and relevant safety standards
- Proficiency with multiple PLC and DCS systems from major manufacturers
- Knowledge of Modbus protocols, Ethernet, LAN/WAN systems, and Windows environments
