Persons Services Corp is looking for a Mechanic to perform daily maintenance and repair work to our equipment fleet in our shop in Humble, TX. Our fleet supports the operation of a construction company and includes heavy equipment, construction equipment, vehicles, tools, and specialty equipment, along with managing our local warehouse and laydown yard.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment.
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
- Repair and maintain fleet & haul trucks.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- 3 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Welding/cutting/fabrication experience required.
- Small engine experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
