What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Leadership
- Keeping operations smooth – Oversee daily functions to ensure excellence in all areas.
- Managing logistics – Payroll, scheduling, inventory, and all behind-the-scenes essentials.
- On-call support – Participate in the rotating on-call management schedule.
Team Leadership & Development
- Leading & inspiring – Manage, train, and develop a top-tier team.
- Hiring & onboarding – Prioritizing a full-time Customer Service Representative.
- Holding high standards – Conduct performance reviews and career development plans.
Client & Community Engagement
- Ensuring an amazing client experience – Happy customers = a thriving business.
- Handling client concerns – Solve problems quickly and ensure positive outcomes.
- Representing our company – Attend industry and community events.
- Supporting our volunteer efforts – Engage in giving back through community initiatives.
Financial & Business Management
- Hitting business goals – Monitor performance, manage budgets, and drive success.
- Overseeing inventory & retail – Optimize profitability and track financial performance.
- Managing client accounts – Keep track of unpaid balances and financial records.
Facility Oversight
- Maintaining a clean & safe facility – Ensure top-tier sanitation & safety standards.
- Handling maintenance issues – Address repairs and facility improvements as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Optimizing policies & processes – Continuously improve operations.
- Engaging in online reputation management – Monitor and respond to reviews.
- Stepping in as needed – Ready to roll up your sleeves when the team needs support.
What We’re Looking For
- Leadership Experience – 3 years in a senior role (hospitality or pet care preferred).
- People Management – Proven ability to lead teams of 20-30 employees.
- Dependability & Accountability – We have high standards, and our team thrives on it.
- Business Savvy – Experience with financial management, payroll, scheduling, and reporting.
- Tech Skills – Proficiency in Gingr software preferred , Microsoft Office, and operational tools.
- Problem-Solver – Quick thinking and decisive, with a proactive approach.
- Passion for Pets – Comfortable working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Cool Under Pressure – Stay calm, think fast, and make smart decisions.
- Hands-On Mentality – No task is beneath you; you’re ready to jump in wherever needed.
- Valid Driver’s License & willingness to drive our company van (we’ll train you!).
- On-call availability & rotating holiday coverage (not required to work every holiday).
