Part-Time Dog Handler

Are you passionate about working with dogs and ensuring they have a fun, safe experience while their owners are away? Pet Care Plus, a top pet resort in the West Loop, is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Dog Experienced Handler to join our team!

Position Details:

• Hours: ~20 hours per week
• Holidays: Must be available to work on holidays
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a dog daycare, boarding, or similar pet care environment

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with groups of dogs to ensure their safety and well-being
• Monitor play behavior, manage group dynamics, and intervene as necessary
• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and other facilities
• Provide care, feeding, and exercise for dogs
• Communicate with team members and pet parents as needed

Requirements:

• A genuine love for dogs and experience handling dogs & various breeds a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and very clean
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols
• Be a good multi-tasker
• Must be able to work holidays as required

Pay Rate: $16.20 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.20 - $17.00/hour.
