Are you passionate about working with dogs and ensuring they have a fun, safe experience while their owners are away? Pet Care Plus, a top pet resort in the West Loop, is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Dog Experienced Handler to join our team!
Position Details:
- ⏰ Hours: ~20 hours per week
- Holidays: Must be available to work on holidays
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a dog daycare, boarding, or similar pet care environment
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with groups of dogs to ensure their safety and well-being
- Monitor play behavior, manage group dynamics, and intervene as necessary
- Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and other facilities
- Provide care, feeding, and exercise for dogs
- Communicate with team members and pet parents as needed
Requirements:
- A genuine love for dogs and experience handling dogs & various breeds a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and very clean
- ⏱ Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols
- Be a good multi-tasker
- Must be able to work holidays as required
Pay Rate: $16.20 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience
Salary : $16 - $17
