Pet Emergency Clinic and Referral Center is now hiring for a Part-Time Kennel Attendant!
This position has the potential to move to Full-Time hours as well based on business needs.

Compensation for the Kennel Attendant
- Part-Time Schedule (with the potential to become Full-Time)
- Starting wage is $17.65, depending on experience
Responsibilities for the Kennel Attendant
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Stock treatment area and miscellaneous areas several times per day
- Complete all laundry
- Possibly assist with cleaning after surgery
- Participate in the overall maintenance of the facility, including cleaning equipment and supplies
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements for the Kennel Attendant
- Ability to lift up-to 50lbs
- Open scheduling availability
- Ability to work with bodily substances from animals (vomit, feces, urine, blood, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and cleaning ability
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, lift, and carry up to 50lbs
- Excellent teamwork and communication
- Ability to work with harsh cleaning chemicals (with proper PPE)
- Self-starting
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and basic veterinary care is preferred
- Experience in animal handling or care is preferred, with skills in dog training or pet grooming being a plus
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare
