Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for DOGS, baking and decorating, with the ability to create visually appealing cakes that meet the furry friends' specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of various decorating techniques, as well as the love for dogs. We are a dog bakery.
Duties
- Design and decorate cakes and dog biscuits according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring good presentation.
- Utilize various tools and techniques, including knives and pastry bags, to achieve desired designs.
- Prepare cake batters and frostings, ensuring all ingredients are measured accurately for optimal texture.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food handling and safety standards.
- Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill large orders or special requests while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance decorating skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols.
