Responsibilities/Qualifications
Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Merchandising Co-Ops to support Assistant Buyer activities including key projects and department maintenance. In this role, you will work up to 30 hours/week and have the option to work remotely.
The Merchandising Co-Op key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the category manager in setting up new items for the season/ categories.
- Supporting the category manager in planogram and maintenance change process.
- Preparing documents for line reviews and category planogram meetings.
- Managing set up of new vendors in the chain for traditional categories and special projects.
- Working directly with vendors to retrieve samples and detail.
- Working closely with the field team on store issues via our internal store operations center.
- Maintaining documents for monthly ads.
- Ensuring content and items are on the website.
- Handling sample management.
PAWsome Merchandising Co-Op candidates will have:
- Enrolled in a degree program or recently graduated with bachelor's degree in related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Key knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Power-Point, Teams.
- Excellent business and financial acumen.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think and act on results with a solution-orientated mindset.
