Use your project management skills to change the world for animals! The PETA Foundation is seeking a driven Project Manager to join our team of supportive PMs, designers, developers, and QA professionals. We’re the technical folks responsible for building our websites, data systems, Salesforce orgs, and more, but we’re also compassionate people who support PETA’s mission to stop using animals for experimentation, food, clothing, or entertainment. Position Objectives :
To lead small and medium web and technical projects and to provide support to other project managers and PETA and PETA Foundation staff members
What your day will look like :
- Leading cross-functional teams of designers, developers, QA, marketers, and fundraising professionals to facilitate all phases of the project lifecycle
- Effectively communicating with the team and monitoring project progress
- Collaborating with teams to establish the technical vision for the project
- Developing project schedules and business needs, holding teams accountable, and bringing projects to successful completion
- Eliciting requirements from stakeholders and using them to create clear, comprehensive, and concise requirements documentation
- Identifying risks, creating mitigation strategies, and executing them
- Drafting product testing instructions for the Quality Acceptance team and user acceptance tests for stakeholders to independently test new and updated products
- Conducting training related to features and operations of products
- Implementing established procedures to keep all project materials accurate and up-to-date
- Completing project reviews and ensuring that lessons learned are shared with the team and applied to future projects
- Delivering excellent customer service to numerous stakeholders and requesting departments
- Always recognizing the work you do helps animals everywhere
Requirements
Bonus qualities :
The salary range for this position is $61, - $81, annually. The ultimate salary within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
