The Grooming Salon Leader is responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the grooming salon
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising a team of entry-level trainees
- Creating and managing efficient grooming schedules
- Monitoring salon performance metrics and developing action plans
You will interact professionally and effectively with pet parents, providing exceptional customer service, addressing grooming-related inquiries, offering grooming recommendations, and resolving questions or concerns in a timely and proactive manner.
You must have:
- At least 2 years of experience as a professional groomer or completion of a technical grooming training program
- Strong leadership skills and a desire to lead, train, and develop people
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Expert knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming requirements, common health issues, and behaviors
The work environment can be noisy and wet, and you may need to bend, kneel, lift (up to 30 pounds), and stand for long periods of time. You will also be working in direct contact with pet parents and their dogs.
