Production Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards. This position is essential for maintaining the quality of our products and ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines.

• Shift A= 5:00am- 5:00pm. Sunday- Tuesday. Every other Wednesday.
• Shift B = 5:00pm-5:00am. Thursday-Saturday. Every other Wednesday.
• Shift C = 5:00 am - 5:00 pm. Thursday - Saturday. Every other Wednesday.
• Shift D = 5:00 pm - 5:00 am. Wednesday - Friday. Every other Saturday.

Work Duties

• Package treats/food/supplements based on work order details
• Inform Operators and Leads of any quality concerns
• Check package seals and lot numbers for accuracy
• Move pallets out of the room once meet the TiHi
• Assist Operators and Leads with any requested duties
• Follow all pre and post inspection procedures
• Fix cookies on pans if relevant
• Clean trays
• Add pans to racks
• Move racks and pans as needed to support production
• Shake/consolidate cookie pans
• Collect product at the end of production lines.
• Follow all pre and post cleaning procedures to achieve sanitary requirements
• Perform any other job functions are requested by supervisor.

Necessary Skills

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills- counting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Job requires the ability to bend, stoop and occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds

Environment

• Ambient conditions – Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Hot or cold Temperatures, and all seasonal elements
• Atmosphere: Dust (Peanut - known allergen), canola seed, and odor
• Must be able to work around noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift
• Protective clothing required: Uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel-toed shoes, gloves and safety harness may be required based on task performed; employees are required to wear all required PPE (i.e. hard-hats, safety glasses, earplugs, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements. *Employees in roles that require respirators will need to be clean shaven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
