Jonathon Laboratory Internship
Location: Laramie, WY
The internship will consist of a variety of testing to support the Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. Jonathon laboratory. The applicant for this position will have opportunities to study our quarry, stone processing, and chemical production processes. This is a great opportunity to learn from the inside how foundational building materials are produced at a reputable company in the community.
Key activities will include:
- Sampling and performing chemical and/or physical testing, for documenting and reporting, and for analytical reviews of quicklime, hydrated lime, crushed and pulverized limestone business activities.
- Laboratory use including analytical equipment, crushers, and pulverizers.
- Testing aggregate gradations against production tolerances.
This paid internship is ideal for a student in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year studying in a mining or a health & safety oriented degree pathway.
